After spending three weeks in GA with our old puppy it became apparent that we all missed her terribly. As we were leaving to head to the airport the last day, we all had to hold her a little longer and there were tears all around. Katie and I displayed our tears more openly than Bryce and the boys, but we were all crying. So when my sister-in-law called the day after we got back and offered to give us her Yorkie, well, we all jumped at the chance. Because the idea of adding a dog to the crazy life we already lead seemed absolutely ludicrous, we did it under the guise of Katie's B-day! It has been a week since Sammy joined the family and we are all adjusting well! The best part about having Sammy is the security he gives when Bryce works late, which is every night. He is already very protective of his new mommy ( yea, that's me) and so I am really glad to have him around.

updates are great! I miss having you guys in our ward.... and I'm so sorry about butt cleaner, red stains and bike boy.... sounds like you've got your hands full. I wouldn't let my kids outside around that group without me either. Don't you miss UV?
UH...YES!!!! I miss everything about UV. The neighbors, the friends (for the kids and me), the security, and the WARD. No ward will ever ever live up to 72nd. (rather that is good or bad is still to be decided) :)
