10AM - Midnight - handle phone calls regarding Jordan, try to manage white-glove from hospital room, try to help husband as much as possible, request if textbooks have been found, receive visiting grandparents for sick baby, tell older children goodnight over phone as baby is screaming and older children are having mental breakdowns due to stress, realize that husband will also be staying in the hospital, determine to take extra bed and sleep while husband pulls night shift, feel guilty, push aside guilt and fall asleep anyway, still worrying about lost textbooks
Sunday April 20th
3 AM - wake to screaming baby: Jordan has climbed out of bed to try and reach Goldfish crackers at the end of the bed. He is standing at the end of the bed literally 4 inches from box, but cannot reach due to IV in his arm. Much stress involved.
3:03 AM - hand a goldfish cracker to jordan and pray that he does not vomit it back up
6:30 AM - doctor says baby is cured and we can go home anytime -
6:30 AM - 10:30 AM - take full advantage of hospital and sleep until husband says it is time to go home (still confused about textbooks)
10:30 AM - go to WalMart to purchase much needed supplies that are lost and/or forgotten in boxes
1 PM - retrieve children from grandparents and head home to unpack more!
Spend the rest of day unpacking and trying to care for very weak and cuddly baby. Finally climb into bed at 1AM Monday morning.
And the sad thing is: I still have not found my textbooks!
